    Description

    Rare double-chambered pottery vessel with bird/parrot whistle, probably used as Flute.  Pre-Columbian Peru, likely Lambayeque, 700-1400 AD.
    In brown-ware, decorated with white markings.
    Double-chambered whistling bottle. No obvious or know repairs.
    Origin: Chancay culture
    Age: 1100 – 1450
    Provenance: Peru, Central coast, near Huacho
    Size: 17 cm. wide and 14 cm. tall.
