    Description

Peruvian Aguayo Tablecloth - Andean Mountain Textile
This tablecloth called Mesa is used by shamans as a tool for a ceremony called despacho, pago a la Pachamama (payment to Mother Earth). This cloth was woven in one of the Patacancha communities, near the town of Calca - Cusco. This blanket has different designs
This tablecloth is made with very fine sheep's wool, so it was very laborious in its preparation, woven at the waist.
    The designs are reversible.
