    Description

The Tupu, an ornament used by the Inca women, is a type of pin with decoration at one of its ends that was placed diagonally holding the blanket. There were also them in pairs, which were placed at the height of each shoulder and with the decorated part facing down.
7The tupus or pins are objects that were used to light or hold the blanket or lliclla that the woman carried on her shoulders. They were also used in pairs to hold the anaku or dress at shoulder height.
