    Description

The tupu, tupo or pin is an object that has been, and continues to be, part of the feminine dress in the Andes for more than 1700 years. It was not used only in life, since there is archaeological evidence of its use in the capacochas or as an offering to the huacas, among others. It has been made in different metals and alloys, according to the carrier's hierarchy and the time of use.
This object was made in oxidized copper by Peruvian artisans.
