    Description

    This hand carved Peruvian folk art gourd bird is in good condition. It does have a few rubs and light scratches on the gourd itself and the stand has some wear as well. As always please check all photos carefully for condition issues/damage. This item has a few minor issues but over all is in great condition. The gourd has its seeds still inside which is kind of a neat addition to this artwork. The carving and what appears careful burning of the gourd to add depth and color is very skillfully done. The item is signed Leoncio Veli and numbered 2. with the location where the artwork was made. This item would be a great addition to a collection of artwork, or  a great conversational piece of artwork for your home or office decor. This items approx. dimensions are L 14.75'' nose to tail x W 4.25'' x H 16.5 '' with stand to tip of nose.
